A black jacket from YOHJI YAMAMOTO line Y'S. It is made from a substantial and very soft brushed cotton, and has a covered, double ended metal zip opening combined with large button tabs. There are two vertical jet pockets at the waist, with a smaller horizontal jet pocket at the breast, and buttoned straps at the cuffs. An unusually small back vent provides extra movement. The jacket has a large, sailor style collar, which resembles a wide shawl collar at the front, and ends in a flat, horisontal panel of fabric at the back.

A white "JOYCE" tag has been stitched onto the traditional square black Y'S tag, denoting that the jacket was originally from the boutique Joyce, which has operated in Hong Kong since 1971. This particuar jacket was a gift to the store from someone who lived in Hong Kong for a number of years in the 1990s, and purchased it during her time there.
